WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:13)

WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the only inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. The Holy Spirit inspired the writers of the Old and New Testaments pointing to Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Scripture is the final authority and standard by which we should live.  (2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 119:105, 2 Peter 1:19-21, Revelation 22:18-19, John 17:17, 20:31, Luke 24:45)

WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. (Luke 1:31-35, Hebrews 7:26, 1 Peter 2:22, Revelation 22:20, 1 Timothy 3:16, Isaiah 9:6, Colossians 1:15-20)

WE BELIEVE that man was created in the image of God, that he was tempted by Satan and fell, and that all following Adam have sinned and are sinful; that repentance toward God, faith in Jesus Christ, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are necessary for salvation. (Genesis 3, Romans 3:23, 10:9-10, 1 Corinthians 15:45-49, Acts 4:12, John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-9, Revelation 3:20)

WE BELIEVE that followers of Jesus Christ are called to sanctification through identification with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection.  (Romans 6:5-11, 12:2, 1 Corinthians 6:11, 2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 2 Thessalonians 2:13)

WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit through the drawing of sinners to repentance, and the indwelling, empowering, and bestowing of gifts to Christians, enabling them to live a life of godliness and effective service.  (John 14:26, Acts 11:16-17, 1 Corinthians 12:3, Romans 8:14-17, Ephesians 4:11-13, Hebrews 2:4, Galatians 3:28)

 

WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to the resurrection of life and the lost to the resurrection of damnation.  (Revelation 22:20, Daniel 12:2, Matthew 25:31-46, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-55)

WE BELIEVE in the local church as a place where believers gather together for edification, teaching from the Word of God, and ministry to and through each other according to their spiritual gift. The local church provides identity to its members as well as encouragement, interdependence, fellowship, correction, and discipline. We believe that it is the responsibility of the Church to take the Gospel into the entire world as a testimony to all nations.  (Matthew 16:18, 24:14, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, 27, 5:1-5, Romans 12:4-8, Ephesians 4:1-16)

WE BELIEVE that all followers of Jesus are to be committed to the fulfilling of the Great Commission and to be involved in making it possible for the Gospel to be preached to all the peoples of the world. Every member in the body of Christ must play a role in building the kingdom and taking the Good News to all creation, making disciples, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey everything that Jesus taught. (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, 13:47, Mark 16:15, Romans 10:13-15, Psalm 96:3)
