The Roatan Advocacy Center for Women is Christian ministry on the island of Roatán in Honduras. Our mission is to glorify God by faithfully teaching His Word and fostering a supportive community that encourages, equips, and cares for women in every area of life. The Roatan Advocacy Center for Women is led by Merary Mejia, who has been with us since 2021, and a team of women volunteers. We currently host bible studies, fellowship gatherings, classes and workshops, an artisan cooperative, and volunteer opportunities.

• Bible Studies: We extend opportunities for spiritual growth for women, no matter where they are on their journey with Christ.

• Fellowship Gatherings: We create space for fellowship by hosting

• gatherings aimed at making God known and

• fostering community among women.

• Classes and Workshops: We offer opportunities for learning, such as

• sewing, English, jewelry-making, housekeeping, & cooking.

• Artisan Cooperative: We provide space and supplies for artisans to work together in designing pieces that can be sold for profit, creating new income streams for local women.

• Volunteer Opportunities: We encourage local participation, knowing God has equipped women with unique gifts to be used for His glory.
