Christi Boronow

christi boronow

Christi is from Pennsylvania.  She originally came down in 2018 to serve as a teacher and taught PreK and Kindergarten in two different Christian bilingual schools. In 2019, the Lord convicted her heart to step out of the classroom and pursue full-time women’s ministry, specifically through counseling. In 2021 as she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Crisis and Trauma counseling and co-founded the Rotan Advocacy Center for Women.

As she dove deeper into ministry, she realized the deep need in the community for an independent, family counseling center. She stepped out of her role at the advocacy center in 2022 and began establishing Legacy’s Counseling Center. In November 2022, the Counseling Center was officially established, and she has been serving men, women, and youth through one-on-one counseling, support groups, and building relationships within the community.

Christi also serves in various ways at New Hope Church on the Sunday morning worship team, as the church’s administrative assistant, and snuggling babies during the service. Her heart is to continue serving the local church and watching it grow with a Kingdom mindset as discipleship relationships continue to grow and thrive.

She also loves to be involved in the community, whether that is playing soccer with the kids, hanging out with the youth girls, translating for short-term mission teams, or anything in between. She loves living life on the mission field for the glory of God.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

Isaiah 61:1-2
